House foundations and concrete slabs in Stockholm
The foundation determines how the rest of the building holds up. Trivon Entreprenad carries out formwork, reinforcement and casting of house foundations and concrete slabs for villas, garages, industrial premises and warehouses in the Stockholm area.
We help you choose a solution that suits the structure and the schedule – including concrete grade, exposure class, amount of reinforcement and expected drying time.

How the work is done
We review the documents and ask the questions needed to price the job. We then submit a quote describing what is included. If, while calculating, we find things that could be simplified or made cheaper, we note these suggestions and present them together with our bid. If the suggestions sound interesting, we discuss them with the project's structural engineer to see whether they can be implemented, and then revise our quoted price downwards.
Once the assignment is confirmed we prepare a proposed schedule for the client, then order setting-out and materials and contact the other trades to let them know we are starting the foundation work – and which works need to be finished before we can start. We then go through all drawings with our site manager, pointing out which steps need particular care and which checks must be made during the work. On site we start with formwork and reinforcement. Before casting we ask the installers to make a final check that all installations in the slab are in place and that drains and penetrations are positioned correctly. Casting is planned around the weather, and the standing area for the concrete truck is checked beforehand. After casting the slab is covered when needed. We then review the result and make sure the flatness meets the client's requirements. The slab is watered and covered as needed.
Frequently asked questions
Can you help with the groundworks before casting?
Yes – together with our groundworks partners we can submit a combined bid for excavation, piling, fine grading and foundations.
How long does it take for the slab to dry?
It depends on the concrete grade, thickness, season and how the building is heated and ventilated. We can help you choose a concrete with drying in mind through a drying calculation in TorkaS, and we can also provide moisture measurement according to RBK.
Do I need finished drawings?
Buildings that require a building permit usually need structural documents. If you don't have everything ready yet you can still contact us and we will help you produce them. At the same time we will propose the most cost-effective foundation.
